How often should I feed my fish?

As often as you can manage. Ideally, you would feed 5 to 6 times a day in small amounts. Especially very active fish like Wrasse's or Anthias' will appreciate smaller amounts of food spread out over the day.

How much should I feed my fish?

There is no easy answer to this question. It largely depends on the type and number of fish one is keeping. Although not very scientifically, a good rule by thumb is that the stomach of your fish is about the size of its eye. It might be a good idea to start with small amounts and work your way up.

Do I need to rinse Apex food?

Absolutely not! All Apex Editions are bare of any added water, fillers or gel binders. At Apex we believe if you pay for food, you should get food and nothing else.

Do I need to thaw the food before I feed it to my fish?

The short answer is no. It is recommended though to thaw frozen food before it's fed to the fish. It could be possible that a fish swallows a still frozen part of the food which may be harmful to the fish.

What should I do with the packaging after I used all the food?

All Apex Editions are packed in 100% biodegradable materials. Therefore, you can just throw it in the general garbage.
